FIND COMMUNITY
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
You were never meant to follow Jesus on your own. Community is where God grows us, stretches us, and transforms us. It’s where discipleship moves from theory to practice—where we encourage one another, speak truth in love, and walk in obedience together. Faith grows best in community because we’re better and stronger together.
Finding community means joining with other believers to encourage, pray, learn, and live out your faith side by side. God uses relationships to strengthen us, shape our character, and keep us focused on what matters most. Real transformation happens when we walk with others, stay accountable, and keep pointing each other back to Jesus.
Walking with Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. Surround yourself with God’s people—they’ll lift you up, walk beside you, and remind you that you’re not alone. Faith flourishes in community.
Sunday worship is the most basic form of community at Better Life Church, but it’s still far better than walking your faith alone. Gathering weekly with your church family refocuses your heart on God, strengthens your faith, and reminds you that you’re part of something bigger than yourself. Real community, however, happens in circles, not rows.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24–25
