What Is The Bible?

The Bible is God’s words to humanity. It’s a collection of 66 books, written by 40 different individuals, over several thousands of years. Through real personal experiences, events, revelations and conversations, God inspired each and every word through human authors. These aren’t words that are distant but apply to us today.

Where Do I Start?

The Bible is a big book and it can seem intimidating. Start with the Gospel of John, it’s all about the life and the teachings of Jesus.

Why Should I Read The Bible?

God want’s to speak to you personally. You can’t have a relationship with someone you’ve never spoken to. The Bible is the primary way God speaks to us. It is the best way to learn how to follow Jesus.

How To Start:

Start by choosing the Scripture that you plan on reading that day. After reading through it, write down all the observations you saw in a journal. Then figure out how you can apply these new things to your life. Then spend time in prayer, discussing these things. This is a Quiet- Time Method called S.O.A.P. Broken down, it is an acronym that stands for Scripture, observation, application and prayer.
