One of the hardest things to do as a Christian is to forgive those who hurt you. Colossians 3:13 says, “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.” An unforgiving heart will keep you from experiencing personal revival in your life. It hinders your prayers, your worship, your relationships, and ultimately your fellowship with God.
- Do I forgive others quickly when they hurt me?
- Why do I find it so difficult to forgive others?
- Who has hurt me that I need to forgive?
- Who have I hurt that I need to seek forgiveness?
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. (Psalm 139:23-24)
